The Story
Two parrots. One umbrella. A bond that can't be broken.
The Inseparables is one of the most charming labels in the entire Ichinichi archive, a golden-ground composition featuring a mirrored pair of parrots sheltering under a shared umbrella, printed for Samuel's of Kobe and stamped Made in Japan. Kobe was one of Meiji-era Japan's great international port cities, a place where East met West in commerce, culture, and craft. This label is a small document of that world.
The graphic sits on the front zip pocket of a bold red sling bag ,vivid, compact, and ready to go wherever you go.
Who This Is For
For the Japanese vintage lover, the retro collector, the daily adventurer who wants their carry to turn heads. Whether you're cycling across the city, hiking a trail, or just running errands, this is the bag that makes people ask where did you get that?
About the Collection
Every design in the Ichinichi Collection is drawn from a personal archive of original Japanese matchbox labels spanning 1880 to 1940. Samuel's Kobe labels are among the rarest and most visually expressive in the collection produced for the export trade at a time when Japanese commercial printing led the world.
How to Wear It
Cross-body, over one shoulder, or switched side-to-side, the adjustable strap attaches to a D-ring on either side of the bag, so it works for left and right carry equally. Three zippered compartments handle keys, wallet, phone, camera, and anything else your day demands.
