The Swan label from the Ichinichi archive — crimson ground, engraved bird at center, intricate scrollwork border — was designed to be noticed on a market shelf. Repeated across an entire garment it becomes a pattern, a texture, a statement. Up close it's a label. From across the room it's a print. Either way it stops people.

About the Collection
Every design in the Ichinichi Collection is drawn from a personal archive of original Japanese matchbox labels spanning 1880 to 1940. The Swan label — crimson, ornamental, and immaculately engraved — is one of the archive's most visually refined pieces. In repeat, it reveals just how much design intelligence was packed into a surface the size of a postage stamp.
Fabric & Construction
Made from 100% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton — lightweight at 4.2 oz/yd² (142 g/m²), breathable, and built to keep its shape wash after wash. Unisex retail fit with crew neckline, ribbed knit collar, tapered shoulders, and dual side seams. Tear-away label for comfort. Ethically made — Fair Labor Association member, Platinum WRAP certified, no sweatshop production.
Note: Sleeve prints and neck labels use DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing technology where applicable.
