Every design in the Ichinichi Collection is drawn from a personal archive of original Japanese matchbox labels spanning 1880 to 1940. The Bee Trade Mark is an Osaka export label — one of the most commercially sophisticated label designs of the Meiji period, awarded silver medals and distributed across Asian markets at the height of Japanese export printing.
